H-E-B Recalls Ice Cream Cups Due to Metal
April 29, 2024
Supermarket chain H-E-B is issuing a voluntary recall for its 12-count packages of 3-ounce cups of Creamy Creations ice cream due to a potential contamination of metal particles.
A press release states the chain has voluntarily recalled the items to continue its commitment to the safety and quality of the products sold to its customers. The recall safeguards the public against the potential for metal in the designated batches of ice cream products. The affected products were distributed to all H-E-B stores in Texas and Mexico as well as all Central Market, Joe V’s Smart Shop, and Mi Tienda stores.
The recalled items include 3-ounce H-E-B Creamy Creations Chocolate Ice Cream — 12 pack with a UPC number of 4122062948 and code dates of Sept. 6 to Sept. 14, 2024. Also recalled is a 3-ounce H-E-B Creamy Creations Lime/Orange sherbet Combo — 12 pack with a UPC number of 4122081930 and code dates of Aug. 31 to Sept. 3, 2024.
