Starbucks Spring Menu Brings New Drinks for 2024
January 31, 2024
Coffee lovers, prepare for a season of vibrant flavors. Starbucks is getting ready to welcome spring 2024 by embracing the trending lavender flavor across its menu, according to food influencer Markie Devo, who shared a sneak peek of what the new menu this spring will supposedly look like.
This March, the brand will reportedly add three unique lavender-based drinks to its menu. The upcoming lineup includes the Iced Lavender Oatmilk Matcha, Lavender Creme Frappuccino Blended Beverage, and Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte. For those who prefer their beverages hot, the Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte can be served warm, too.
Alongside these new drinks, customers shouldn’t miss the forthcoming merchandise from Starbucks. April will reportedly see a new powder blue color release as part of Starbucks’ collaboration with Stanley.
The introduction of lavender drinks has been greeted with a mix of reactions. Some customers expressed joy and anticipation, looking forward to trying something new from Starbucks. However, there were also those who had reservations about the new flavor, likening it to a candle and questioning its appeal.
Interestingly, Devo created a light-hearted comparison between the purple drinks and the character Grimace, adding a touch of humor to the discussion.
This isn’t the first time Starbucks has sparked a debate with its new offerings. In 2023, Starbucks released the Oleato line of drinks, which paired coffee with olive oil — an experimental move that received mixed responses from customers. Some even reported stomach issues after trying the new drinks. Despite the feedback, Starbucks continued to sell the drinks, which are now available across all U.S. stores as of Jan. 30.
Starbucks is clearly not afraid to stir the pot, and its upcoming lavender creations are proof. While the new flavor might be divisive among customers, Starbucks’ adventurous spirit continues to prevail. Whether you are eager to taste the new lavender beverages or prefer sticking to your usual order, one thing is certain: Starbucks will continue evolving its menu, catering to the diverse tastes of its patrons. Stay tuned for a spring filled with innovative, flavorful Starbucks experiences.
