JCPenney has announced its lineup of back-to-school deals and events, and there are wins aplenty for America’s diverse working families as the company invests in its customers.

With over 7,000 items under $20 and 2,500 items under $10 for the whole family, JCPenney is offering deep discounts for parents who want to save money as they prepare their children for a new school year. The retailer is also offering more than 4,000 back-to-school items for kids under $20, nearly 1,500 of which are apparel items priced under $10.

In addition, JCPenney will offer $12 student haircuts for kids under 12 and $12 off any styling service over $30 for students K-12. Plus, teachers get an extra 35% off starting July 22.

Along with these deals, the retailer will offer exclusive sales events before the school year begins, including Black Friday in July (July 15-21), a 50% off Mystery Sale (Aug. 1-4), doorbusters during Super Saturday (Aug. 9-11), Power Penney Days (Aug. 22-25), and the Semi-Annual Beauty Event (Aug. 1-18).

JCPenney Rewards members will save even more with the all-new Members-Only Savings Season event from July 11 to Aug. 29. Rewards members will receive over $100 in values and discounts. Shoppers can sign up for the free program to get access.

Some specific deals include up to 60% off select items, BOGO jeans, and more during Black Friday in July, Thereabouts uniforms starting at $5, and kids activewear with a price point beginning at just $12. For college-bound kids, the store’s Semi-Annual Home Sale from July 15 through Aug. 11 will help shoppers stock up on dorm essentials, including bedding, storage, and décor at upwards of 50% off.

“Back-to-school marks the beginning of a new and busy season for families. Whether it’s making sure your kids have what they need for the classroom or dorm room, or refreshing your own wardrobe and home, these items can add up quickly,” said Michelle Wlazlo, chief merchandising and supply chain officer at JCPenney. “With JCPenney Rewards, families have an opportunity to get more, earn more and save more in 2024. No matter what they’re shopping for, we want customers to find value across the store with great pricing and rewards, including offers like complimentary portraits, new collections and weekly discounts.”
